In General

Inclusion and social connectedness are crucial to good health. Community-based seniors organizations keep seniors connected, engaged and healthy – a service that’s vital to the social health of our community.

The Edmonton Seniors Coordinating Council, through the Connecting Edmonton Seniors initiative, is raising the profile of these key issues by including a special feature in the February 26, 2020 edition of the Edmonton Journal.

A front-page wrap and a four-page insert highlight how social inclusion, and the community organizations working to support seniors, helps seniors age healthily in the community.

We invite you to view the feature. The PDF is sized for the Edmonton Journal so you won’t be able to print it on your home computer. However, we have print copies. If you’d like a copy, contact us at info@connectingedmontonseniors.ca.
